I had a 16 Edge, and I realize this Explorer is a totally different rear biased vehicle, but it still has the "Intellegent 4WD" which isn't actually 4WD, its AWD and engaged by a clutch pack in the front in the same way my Edge did in the rear.

  • Theloop82 I like the look of the new Explorer, The engine is nice, and Ford's interiors and infotainment are pretty nice on the higher zoot models.

T-Birds still had a lot of carry over prestige at the time. It was an aspirational car, considered a 'personal luxury vehicle', combining all the available creature comforts with a big V-8. Personally back then I loved the look, as did my peers. Even the floor mats had white thunderbirds embossed on them. Silver/grey exterior and matching interior with split bench seats. 351 engine, velour interior and most of the available options.
